PPI/PPIC ceased publication of Better Crops International (BCI) as of January 2004.

Originating in 1985, BCI featured articles reporting on research results and nutrient management concerns in the key international regions where PPI/PPIC agronomic programs are established. Regular Issues were published two times each year (May and November), and the magazine was intended primarily for agricultural leaders and scientists working in agronomy and related sciences outside North America.
